The Alpha is a versatile humbucker that has a warm, smooth tone with loads of sustain; perfect for creating classic rhythm sounds and fat leads. It handles everything from vintage to modern and is wax potted to prevent any unwanted noise. The Alpha uses a silver bottom plate, is wound with heavy Formvar wire, and is equipped with an alnico 5 magnet. It comes with a 4 conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options (parallel, coil-split, ..).
